was the second oldest son of Chikurinbo and was in the service of the 9th son of the shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa and followed him to Nagoya. This started the close connection of the Chikurin-ha to the Tokugawa family. He completed a four-volume work (shikan no sho - 四 巻 之 書) on kyudo that his father had begun.
